LOVE IT
5This foundation is amazing, hardly have to use any and is so easy to apply. It also stays on my skin well which is good considering my oily complexion. I can't get enough of Illamasqua!

2I found this foundation very disappointing the colour was much lighter than I expected and very drying wouldn't buy it again.

Amazing
5This foundation is the perfect colour! I always find it so hard to get something that's pale enough for me. It feels lightweight , smooth and you can also build it up. Great value!

Small but Outstanding
4When I 1st opened my package I was like Eww , how Dare they charge me $40 for a sample size !! I actually was so turned off I didn't touch it for about a month ... How foolish of ME !!!! This product is Amazing . I love the way it blends , color match was RIGHT on . Didn't feel heavy , it is just heavenly . The only reason I give it a 4 is becuz the packaging just throws me off . I feel like I have to use as little so I don't run out ... &! I have to squeeze it vs. pump

Lovely but...
4The colour of this foundation (4.5) is just lovely! I have a terrible time trying to get a foundation to match my skin tone. They are usually too orange, or too dark. This is perfect! I also think it smells pretty! It's incredibly light, and I can't feel like I'm wearing foundation. I also have very sensitive dry skin, and it doesn't antagonise this. - all really great points. However my issues are these; - It doesn't last very well throughout the day because it rubs off and 'streaks' when I touch it. It pulls off when I try and apply it with my brush. And It 'flakes'. - The bottle is too hard to squeeze. I'm loosing so much foundation in each bottle because I find it impossible to squeeze. Maybe I'm not using it to the best of it's ability, so I'm going to keep trying with this foundation for now, but sadly I think I'm going to have to eventually use another one.

SB2 on pale combination skin
4I was expecting the shade to be slightly too light for me, but it was spot on. Applied with a stippling brush it sits on my skin nicely, evens it out well and gives it that lovely dewy glow. However, my foundation previous to this was Estée Lauder Double Wear, so i do have to admit i'm disappointed with the staying power of this foundation. Wearing Double Wear, i could go to work for the day, come home, go out on the town all night and only ever have to powder here and there, it really stayed well, but the colour was not pale enough. I found With Skin Base that it goes on perfectly, i'll come home after 6 hours of work and it'll still be on my face well (except my nose, nothing but double wear stays on there), but my face will be very shiny. But after powdering the foundation just seems to break down and smudge - and look pretty horrific! I haven't tried wearing it out yet but i'm not sure i want to risk yet. I am going to invest in the matte primer and see if that help me any. If that doesn't help then this will strictly be a day foundation, or a foundation that i wear for short period of time as it doesn't have the staying power i need for a full night or a long period of time. Bit of a shame considering the colour is perfect and it feels so light and comfortable on the face. I'm next going to try Rich Liquid foundation as they may be more appropriate for longer wearing times.

Best Foundation
5Best foundation! Mac's Studio Fix Fiundation destroyed my combination skin and made me broke out! I bought this after being tested in Selfridges Manchester last March and have used it since. It's a perfect match for my skin and yellow undertone. I have very red cheeks naturally and this helps even the tone of my skin. It also seriously lasts as you only need a little. I've had the same bottle for over year now! It's also build able and I would say lasts around 10 hours without needing a touch up if you set it with some translucent powder! Fan foundation, my holy grail, love, love, LOVE and I've gotten all f My friends to purchase this and love it too!

color description?
23.5 is more of a yellow undertone with pink than what is described. hence, I got the wrong foundation shade. I wish there would be a shade a little paler than 3.5 but darker than 2 that has a clear pink undertone with only little or no yellow. my next try is to get shade 7 and mix that one with shade 2. Also shade 6 which was formerly descibed as neutral undertone is too yellow for me.... in my opionion it would be extremely helpful if illa would produce for their abroad customers samples for a little price so we can find our shade without spending/wasting too much money for wrong shades ... The foundation consistency is wonderful but then shade range for pale cool toned women is very little - hence this time only two stars

Worth every penny!
5Spent forever trying to find the perfect match to my light /medium yellow undertoned Asian skin!! I was using MAC NC35 but it was a bit too light, NC37 was a bit too dark. Finally, I've found my match -- illamasqua skin based 7.5!! (i was matched in store and the comparison chart was off...) It looks so natural when applied and lasts all day! You MUST moisturize before application! medium to full coverage, it's definitely buildable and blends perfectly. It does NOT oxidize which I loveeeeeee! Whatever color you put on, is the color it remains! This will be my forever foundation as long as the formula stays the same! Ordered the light & rich formulas to try! Hope they turn out just a wonderful!
