Terrible for my skin!
1I recently bought Skin Base for the first time due to reading so many good reviews. I am so disappointed that is looks so bad on my skin. My skin is normal/dry with large pores and a few small red patches on my chin. I've found that my skin is fine with most foundations. I regularly exfoliate my skin, always use a rich moisturiser and use a good primer which reduces the visibility of my pores with other foundations. I tried to apply Skin Base with my fingers, a sponge and several brushes but it always looks horrible. The foundation sits in my pores and makes them more visible. The foundation doesn't cover my imperfections (which other foundations do easily), the foundation went very patchy with a couple of hours and looked flakey. The foundation also made my skin look very dry in patches which has never happened with other foundations. It also has no staying power at all (I've tried it with several different primers and moisturisers). It rubs off very quickly and makes me look shiney even though my skin isn't oily. I also found it really difficult to apply despite it being described as 'easily blendable'. It just applies badly and you really need to work at it to make it look nice. All in all I'm very disappointed. I look better without wearing foundation than when I wear this.

Bad Quality Bottle exterior, impossible to squeeze out all of the product, only squeezes up to 3-7 uses :(
2The foundation is good but this bottle is Terrible. It is very hard thick plastic exterior and super hard to squeeze. The tip is also annoying because if it was an open headed bottle, the foundation can be taken out easily with a foundation brush like most prestige foundations. But this tip is as tiny as a syringe on an injection! It took all my power to squeeze two pumps before my wrist started hurting with pain. I returned this foundation :( Will not repurchase unless they start making a better shaped bottle in which the foundation wont be such a pain to take out. Also I warn you this bottle will barely do 4-6 uses before it cant squeeze anymore. Many other customers also complained that they can only take out 25% of product, the rest is still in the bottle but not able to be squeezed out due to a needle tiny opening and 75% of product is wasted (unless you figure out a way to literally cut this bottle open in half with a scissor to reach the remaining product on top half of the bottle lol). What a shame.

Fabulous
5Love skin base, have 7 shades in my kit which cover all clients either on their own or by mixing them. The coverage is great, very long wearing, natural and buildable. My clients love how light and natural it feels on and how flawless their skin looks. Love it!!

Absolutely wonderful
5I can't recommend this product enough! I have incredibly fair skin, and I can mix the white base with any regular pale foundation 1:1 and not only does it color match my foundations but it also adds coverage, which is amazing. I love this product and will continue buying it as long as possible.

Hands down the best foundation.
5This foundation just blends into your skin so perfectly, it makes you look like you aren't wearing any at all. I go between this and mac face and body for every day wear. It is a buildable foundation however I personally don't like the finish as much when I feel there is to much product on the skin. It also have such an amazing range of colours that I might buy it for more highlight and contour purposes to create that effortless finish.

5This has light coverage, when you are in college, uni or going to work this is the one you need, amazing, good for dry skin.

This changed how I feel about foundation
5Firstly, I feel the need to correct Selina's review. This formulation has never gone to sale and she has mixed it up with the liquid light foundation. I LOVE this so much. It dose not oxygenate, a little goes a long way and I even use it in place of concealer. You can build it up without it looking caked on. The best foundation I have every used so far. If you can test it out, you will see for yourself.

5After trying a million foundations from a million different brands I finally found one pale enough to match my skin! Great coverage and it lasts for ages as well

High street brands just as good
3I bought this in the sale for £7.50 but i never use it much as I don't really get a full coverage with this foundation and I don't want to apply too much and end up cakey. I have tried and tested high street brands which cost same/similar to the sale price which I purchased it and honestly they are better quality. However, I'm going to use this foundation more and see how it turns out, I may be wrong. I would recommend it but I wouldn't buy it at the full price - not worth it.
