Worst bottle design but best foundation
1Why would someone design such an awful bottle for a remarkable foundation. I would like to request the illamasqua team to change the shape of this bottle. I only used it 3 times and the rest is not coming out. I had to cut it with the sharpest knife from my kitchen and transfer it into a jar. What a shame and yet we pay so much money for this.

Do not buy this awful foundation, awful bottle, just awful
1Where to start with this awful product? I have very pale skin with very red cheeks and an oily t-zone, so finding foundations that will match my skin tone and won't make me look like I've been in the gym for two hours is a killer for me. I went to the Trafford centre a few months back and came across selfridges, and then the illamasqua counter. After hearing a lot of good reviews about their products I decided to get a foundation and I was matched to number 02 . I loved the look it gave me and it matched my skin perfectly, I told the lady how I suffered with an oily t-zone and a red blotchy face and she said how perfect it would be for me then. After an hour of wearing it I looked like an oily clown and it was see through. I figured oh well I've been out shopping getting hot and bothered so maybe that's why and thought nothing of it. I then tried it the next day, simple went on fine and made me look porcelain, a few hours later I had to apply more powder and still it was see through. I've tried this foundation with tones of primers, setting powders etc and nothing seems to make it last longer than an hour. I am so disappointed with this product and after spending £27 I am completely pissed off. Not to mention the shape of the bottle, takes a good 5 minutes to try and get enough product out. I have gone back to using Rimmel London match perfection in 010 light porcelain and that's the only foundation I will now use, however I still have to reapply powder because of my t-zone. Worst and dearest mistake I've made when it comes to makeup.

5Amazing product!!!! I'm in love with Illamasqua products...products worth every penny!! Unfortunatelly I have a skin type that requires THE BEST products(skincare/ make up)..I've spend loads of time and money looking for something Perfect for my skin...and finally I got it...thank you ILLAMASQUA!!!!

5I have been using Chanel Lumiere for years and it is safe to say that this is now going to be my new staple foundation instead. It has excellent coverage with out being heavy and really does make my complexion look flawless. I would recommend is a heartbeat!!

My favourite
5I love this foundation, never have I found one before that has matched my skin so well, plus it gives an amazing flawless finish without looking caked on and has amazing staying power - couldn't ask for anything more, it's perfect skin in a bottle.

The tube last forever
5Well, I received my foundation in shade 2 on november 2012 and I still use the same tube now ^^' It's like there's a blackhole at the bottom of the tube, it's endless, I can't finish it...

1I bought this very recently after shopping in Selfridges Birmingham when the counter caught my eye. I had heard a few good things about this foundation so I thought "why not" and asked to be matched to a colour. First of all, the shade range isn't the best for pale skin whatsoever! The shade I was matched to was 02 which is too pink in my opinion. I then asked to try shade 03 and this was too yellow. In the end, I plumped for the 02 as it was the one that was closest to my skin but I can't say I was entirely happy. I bought it anyway - and I wish I hadn't. I have dry/normal skin and I exfoliate at least twice a week, wear an incredibly rich moisturiser, I wear a primer and I unfortunately have some large pores on my nose and cheeks. This foundation was a big, cakey mess when I applied it and believe me, I've tried to make it work! I've used sponges, fingers, all kinds of foundation brushes - nothing has helped. It accentuated the appearance of my pores and fine lines and it never seemed to dry down properly - it stayed sticky and cakey. It was incredibly difficult to blend - not fluid at all. When I had the foundation on, it looked and felt like a heavy mask of makeup. £27 down the drain...I also bought the concealer to go with it - again, another waste of time. Looked cakey and didn't set properly on my skin. Would not re-purchase or recommend to friends - its just a shame I don't live locally to the store I purchased it from as I would have definitely returned it!!

Perfection in a bottle
5I'd looked around forever for a foundation that perfectly matched my skintone, until I found this one. Sure, it's a bit costly, but it works wonders. The formula is pretty much perfect. It feels amazing on my skin and has a nice matte finish, depending on the base you use with it. It perfectly balances my skintone and is quite long lasting with wear. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
