Photoshop in a Bottle
5This was my first 'high end' foundation and I've honestly never looked back. I had a colour-match instore (amazing staff btw!) and this is the first shade that hasn't left me orange. The formula is very light and smells great, I can't even tell I'm wearing foundation. I have pretty bad skin and despite being only medium coverage, skin base blends really well and gives me a more even, very natural skin tone whilst covering my blemishes without looking cakey, when I really take my time applying it and use Hydra-Veil I feel photoshopped (in a good way!). I find that it lasts well through the day, my only hang up being that towards the end of the day my skin can look a little shiny/oily, this effect is reduced when used with Hydra-Veil I've noticed and I imagine would be just perfect with Matte Veil. I do also think the bottle design leaves a lot of remnant product which isn't ideal but it's definitely worth the money and one bottle has lasted me 3 months so far, with a little left to go.

Lovely colour...shame about it's lasting power
3Don't get me wrong, I love this foundation. The colour is perfect for me and I like how buildable it is, but it just doesn't seem to stay on my skin. The lightest touch with my fingers removes huge patches of it even with a good load of powder and it's completely gone after a couple of hours out. For the price, I think it should last on skin a lot longer. It also seems to oxidize a lot faster than any other foundations I've used.

You must buy!!
5If you are looking for a product to use for highlighting during the contouring process you MUST buy this!!!! It's amazing...possibly the only product I've tried that has got me anywhere near the 'Kim K' contour...just need to work on looking like her now haha!!! It's amazing and lasts a very long time. xx

New Holy Grail
5Finally after about 8 years of searching for the right shade for my extremely pale, pink undertone and freckly skin, I have found my saving grace. I went to Myer in Sydney, Australia and was matched a 2, but mixed a little Rich Liquid Foundation in 'white' with this shade and it was PERFECT. I didn't even have to blend it down my neck. I also purchased Hollow to use as a contour, also because I felt it matched my paleness perfectly. I'm so pleased with the longevity and coverage I get out of it and I'm sold! I only wish I found Illamasqua sooner.

Amazing! Best foundation ever
5Before using this I was admanant that Mac Studio Fix was the best foundation out there, I was absolutely wrong and I will never use Mac again. This makes you look flawless and evens out your skin tone, also since I've stopped using Mac my spots have all gone and also on pictures it creates a good effect would definitely recommend this to anybody.

Good with the potential of being great
3It lasts for my 9-5 job (just) but if I am working a longer day it does wear off (I'm in events). Also, the plastic bottle is rather hard to squeeze.

AMAZING, LOVE IT, BEST PRODUCT EVER
5I love this product! Its so light on the skin, making it feel silky yet the coverage is amazing! I have combination skin and so other foundations tend to stick to the dry parts, and my T-zone usuallylooks greasy further on in the day, but this foundation combats both of those problems. I also work at a college that specialise in media makeup, and we only use illamasqua as its the best!

I don't get it.
1I have tried it with both primers and it gives me dry areas which I don't have. Then I tried it mixed with primer over primer and it still gives me dry areas. Is it just me?

Amazing foundation
5Bought this foundation recently and am so happy with the purchase! The lady at the selfrisges counter in birmingham was lovely..... Took her time in explaining about the foundation and demonstrated really well. Being an Asian with darker skin tone, I normally find it very difficult to get an exact match foundation but was pleasantly surprised to find my exact match! This foundation actually looks like skin and it's best when I use it with the hydra veil. Am well chuffed with my purchase.

5I'd never heard of this brand before and I've only seen 1 store stock it so I wasn't expecting anything when I first tried it. A week after buying this foundation, I went to my hairdresser and we talked about makeup foundations and I mentioned that I recently stopped using MAC on my face. He then told me all the horrible chemicals they put it in their products and suggested for me to use illamasqua instead! Completely in love with the brand!! xx
