If this foundation was a man I'd marry it
5I have a hard time finding foundations that match me well. I'm pale, but also just over a quarter Maori, which means although I'm pale my undertone is yellow pink. The girl at the counter gave me various samples to take away and try. When I opened shade 4 I was dubious, because it looked darker than my current foundation which makes mellow weird and orange. To my surprise it blended beautifully and looks like my skin but better. Cant recommend enough.

Seriously Impressed
5I have used many foundations over the years both high end and the more reasonable brands, I have never had the result this product provides. My usual foundation for the last 18 months has been MAC Pro Longwear I am a die hard MAC fan! Although in the main I have been reasonably happy the coverage has been a little heavy to obtain the longevity. This product delivers on all fronts, I use with the Matt Primer and Translucent Pressed Powder, the effect is stunning. My skin appears flawless with very little product used and doesn't appear to be covered in heavy foundation. My skin is combination and shine does appear towards the end of the day, however what most impresses me with this foundation is that I can lightly add a little more with a stippling brush over the shiny areas and I'm good to go through a night out if necessary without any cakey look or feel to my skin. I have never been able to top up a high performing foundation before and get a flawless look. I wore this for my wedding on the recommendation of the makeup artist I used, now I can see why it photographs beautifully with no flashback or shiny skin effect. Do not hesitate to buy this foundation it is superb on every level

Best foundation ever
5I have tried MAC, Estée Lauder, tried Clinique, Urban Decay, Bobbi Brown and Max Factor. Bobbi brown was an excellent base and matched so well, however discovering the Lauder clan own Mac and Bobbi brown etc I had to search for an alternative non evil brand. Hello illamsqua. I certainly was not disappointed. Excellent coverage, better than my beloved Bobbi Brown and what a fantastic finish. I am going to use this base as my wedding foundation that is how good it is! The skin base 10 is a great match and the member of staff in the Sheffield store who helped me was amazingly patient and caring. She ensured I was 100% satisfied before I purchased and didn't push for a quick sale! Thank you illamsqua! Please don't doscontinue this product EVER!!

It's God's gift!
5This was one of the first Illamasqua products that I ever bought, and it is absolutely fantastic; it makes my skin look flawless, covers up and conceals blemishes, and lasts all day. I have since tried using my old foundations from L'Oreal and Clinique, but they don't even come close. This is the ultimate foundation, and is a absolute must-have for every Illamasqua lover!

Best foundation so far
5I have used many foundations over the years, Max factor, Mac studio fix, Benefit oxygen wow and Dior star etc... But this is by far the best foundation I have ever used. I don't know why people are saying it is not for oily skin as I have oily skin and it is perfect as it balances it all out and gives me an even tone and perfect coverage. I use a primer underneath and a sheer powder to set it and it is perfect. Everyone is commenting on how clear and flawless my skin looks. I also find my bronzer looks better with this foundation too. Definitely reccomend.

My wedding foundation
5My friend who is a make up Artist recommended this for me to wear on my wedding day. I love this foundation.. I used to wear Estee Lauder double wear… I ran out of skin base last week and put on double wear…its horrible!! compared to skin base.. can't believe the difference…its the only one for me now!!!

5I recently stopped using MAC NC30 as I found out MAC is owned by Ronald Lauder who funds the Israeli West Bank, and with what's currently going on, I didn't want to help fund the devastation. I was recommended to use Illamasqua and I had never heard of it before. The skin chart on the website suggested a slightly different shade but I then went in store and the staff were so lovely and friendly. I love how retro and funky the store is too. The lady knew exactly which shade would be right for me but tried two just incase and the 1 she chose was the best for me. I absolutely love it, the coverage is so similar to MAC but this looks more natural.

4I love the medium to full coverage this foundation gives you. I mostly wear this product for a day into night look, when you don't need that full full coverage of a night out. I am 325 in Illamasquas other foundations so matched SB17. I find this a little dark if I wear to much, but the tiniest bit goes a long way or sometimes I apply a lighter concealer first and buff out with this on top if I want to build more coverage so I doesn't end up being too dark for me.
