It’s a no from me
2I got it as a sample, I tried it and I don’t like it. At all. I got #2 which is too pink for me (which makes my acne scars look more red); the lighter shade would be too light and the darker shade would be way too dark for me. It dries out fast so blend immediately after applying the foundation on your cheek. Also, I prefer using a beauty blender and it was very hard to blend. The coverage is good but it’s too drying, even with a hydrating, Korean primer.Â

Not long lasting
4Love this foundation when it first goes on (paired with illamasqua pressed powder - I think it would be too sticky without it) but it doesn’t last long at all. I’ve found I need to reapply within about 4 hours as it goes flaky. If I don’t reapply all day by the time I’m home from work it looks like I’ve got no face make up on. I have tried a few different primers with it to see if that helps but haven’t noticed much difference really. Disappointing for the price and a shame because I do really love it when it first goes on.

Amazing!!
5I have sensitive skin and have never been able to experiment with different make up. Â For years i have used lancome concealer instead of foundation when attending weddings, parties etc. After visiting the illamasqua counter at Selfridges i was assured by the sales rep this brand would suit my skin. She applied the beyond veil primer and skin base in shade no9. I was amazed how flawless my skin looked and ecstatic that i did not have a reaction. Absolutely love these products and the jubilee eyeshadow is just amazing!! Highly recommend this brand, especially to anyone with sensitive skin!

Really good texture, feel and matt coverage. Does not wear off.
4I have normal skin on whole but need extra cover over cheeks and under eyes. I ordered 2 which is a very pale shade.

Light feel, good coverage.
4The texture is light and airy but is deceptively good at concealing your skin. It’s buildable too and doesn’t oxidise. It can be moved around the face easily and then set. A great range of colours; however i would say that the shades in real life are lighter than they look on screen.Â

Love this foundation
