Has formula changed?
4I've been using Skinbase for the past 7/8 years and love how natural and light it is. But I have just bought a new tube and it doesn't seem to be blending into my skin as well - there's almost a 'chalkiness' to it, its sitting in lines and is taking longer to absorb.

Fake wrinkles
3I’m 21 and I have no wrinkles but for someway this foundation sits on the expression lines I’ve tried with a million of primers (me being dramatic) I’ve tried it with like 10 primers. And it does the same. Besides that is very full coverage and light weight, literally you don’t feel it but you see it. My tip will be for the ones who want to buy it is just avoid eye area and mouth where the smile lines are area even if you put concealer on top of it is the same effect.

Blending
4I saw this product on John McClean’s YouTube channel. I like to even oug my skin tone, but foundations are either too pink or too yellow. I am a cooler skin tone with a slight olive cast. I’m hot nearly as pale as John. I love how this product can lighten up heavy foundations or lift the color to make it blend seemlessly.

Perfect for my skin type, skin tone and my rosacea!
5I usually use the 4.5 and I have to say it's the only foundation I have found that matches my skin perfectly. I just need it to cover my rosacea problem areas, I don't go for full face coverage. I have yellowish pink skin and as you can imagine, it's really hard to find something that caters for that! I also have dry flaky skin with oily spots. So it has been very difficult to find something that works for me. So far this is the only foundation that matches my skin tone (I also use the skin base mixer sometimes to lighten my foundation in specific areas.) The trick with this foundation and the issue with it sliding off of my skin is the following: Spray on a matte finish setting spray. Use a matte/velvet skin base in a very small quantity. Lightly powder my skin with translucent loose powder. Apply small amounts of foundation to red areas (cheeks, nose, chin.) Wet sponge and apply more loose powder using damp sponge. Apply setting spray again! Hey presto. The foundation covers my redness and stays for most of the day(10 hours plus)! It also doesn't dry out and become flaky as always happens with me and nearly all foundations. It took more than a decade to work out the perfect regime for me and to find the perfect foundation. I recommend this for people with rosacea, dry flaky skin... oily skin and pink/yellow skin tones all in one.

Skin base
5Beautiful foundation, very nice to wear , you can also mix it very good. I have fair skin and illamasqua is the only one with the lightest foundations I know skinbase 2 rosy and 3 slightest yellow .

Skin base
5Ive been using illamasquas skin base 6 for about 6 years. I have acne rosacea on my cheek and rosacea on my chin and nose. It gives me full coverage without feeling heavy and cloggy. Recently done my first order on line and the packaging was amazing.

Not bad
3I recently decided to use only cruelty free makeup and this foundation appeared to be one of the best. I have oily skin but get a bit dry between my eyebrows. This foundation gathered around that area and slid around my face especially on my chin and nose. I tried with and without a primer and nothing worked. My Maybelline Fit Me and Estée Lauder foundations are much better but I will continue to search for a cruelty free foundation. Quite thick but not heavy. Probably more suited to someone with normal or dry skin with a good moisturiser underneath. Coverage pretty good, easy to wear as medium or full coverage. I will try some different primers.

Skin foundation
4This foundation does what it says, provides full coverage. The only issue I have with it is that I find the foundation moves on your face and doesn’t quite “stick” to the skin? I’m not sure if this due to what type of primer I’m using ... so I’m going to give it a try without and see what happens

Super amazing
5I love it.i am a pro Mua..and I use this foundation on my brides..it looks so flawless in each and every person. It feels like its your own skin ton and blends amazingly. I am big fan of this foundation..
