Lovely but disappointed in colour
4I was so excited to receive my illimasque 04. But when it was delivered the box was far too big for such a small package, plus the colour is too light. I wear Estée Lauder ivory beige and wanted a colour like that..... I also ordered samples and even 6.5 is too light. I have used it as a concealer and the feel of it is lovely but I wish I had the right colour.

5I've been using this foundation for around 4 years now- great for a full coverage look. I have sensitive skin and it is one of the only foundations that don't make me break out. I wear the 'hydra veil' primer before I apply this. I recommend this foundation for anyone that likes a medium to full coverage foundation x

Loving this!
5I have searched for the length of my career as a makeup artist for the right foundation for MY skin tone. Due to my Native American and Cuban heritage, there are some weird little seemingly unmatchable undertones. Low and behold, I was gifted with about twenty skin base foundations and No. 17 was a match for me. I’ve tried brands like MAC, Bobbi Brown and NARS I have been unsuccessful, but I am so relieved and elated to have found a foundation that not only matches my skin color but the skin type. I have hyperpigmentation that sometimes gets dry and makes me feel super self conscious but now I never leave the house without my skin base! Thank you all for your genius, I will be devoted to your brand forever!

Favorite foundation
5I love this foundation, I feel like I’ve tried thousands of foundations and this is definitely my personal holy grail, I’m on my third bottle and I hope I can keep buying it forever! It’s very buildable and easy to blend and isn’t patchy or cakey. It’s a beautiful finish. (I have oily skin)

Like SILK and SATIN
5I purchased the skin base 7.5 which was matched to my skin colour when I went to Glamcandy for a masterclass in make-up in Aberdeen. My friends have since purchased also. It's such a silk/satin texture and with little effort to apply,it blends in to ur skin so beautiful and appears so natural on your skin. Worth every penny. We all love it. Perfect for our mature skin.Best ever!!!! Will use it for my wedding day!!!!

Lovely Buildable Coverage
5A great silky foundation! The coverage is very buildable, you can get both a very natural look with it and a very glam one. The lovely undertones also make it match my skin perfectly! Lasts very well through the day without caking or bunching up in weir spots. Definitively my new favourite foundation!

Smooth as silk
4This product is very smooth and glides onto the skin easily, is absorbed quickly and gives good coverage. I am a little concerned that the colour is lighter than advertised, although I do appreciate photograph colouring is a difficult area. It is a bit disappointing that I contacted you over a week ago to see if you could send me out a tester pot if the next colour down, namely number 3, and have had no reply. It is a tricky business buying new foundation and I chose the company out of ethical considerations; could you match my choice with an ethical choice to respond, please?

4Thus far, this is my favourite skin base EVER!!! Most lines do not carry colors light enough for my skin. I love being able to take some of the warmer (extremely fair colors) tones, place a couples drops of white skin base, mix on back of hand and perfection. I LOVE the flexibility Illamasqua allows with foundations. I will buy again!

Wow
5I ordered samples of the foundation as tbh I'm not wearing make up regularly and have no idea what I'm doing, but I had seen an advert on Facebook and thought wth! Came yesterday so fast and I decided to try out today, I picked the perfect shade and used nothing else apart from my eczema cream underneath and used nothing over the top either, this has stayed on all day while getting a tattoo then going to work in a very busy food place and looks as good as when I put it on. My skin looks great and not patchy, I'm so impressed and so have a couple of other people asking what I've used and there is definitely enough in the sample for another application, also I should mentioned I'm mixed race with patchy skin tone because of the eczema and looks flawless 😁 definitely buying a full size.
