Nice idea...
1This is a lovely idea but really doesn't do what it's supposed to. Packaging is lovely but that's just a novelty. Maybe just not for me... my best friend normally ends up with all my primers so I'm sure she'll enjoy it!

5Honestly have never had skin that I am confident in. It was always greasy... Really greasy. This product really is a must have. I now don't have to be constantly checking my face for shine. I fact I feel lucky for my skin type now because at 36 I have no wrinkles and now have no shine! Thank you Illamasqua

Really nice and it works!!
5I bought Hydra veil last year, and I liked it a lot but during the summer I kept using the Illamasqua Matte primer and, although I like it, it was a bit too much for me so I decided to try this one and I am in love. The skin looks and feels lovely, my pores have not disappeared but they are less noticeable and the skin looks fresh and healthy. Perfect for Spanish summer

Amazing Product
5I like many others here have tried many big brand primers. Being new to Illamasque I was sceptical about purchasing the Matt Veil for £30 however this product is by far the best at keeping my oily t-zone at bay for at least 10 hours...and even then the shine was really minimal. I have recommended the Matt Veil to my friends and family and will definitely purchase this product again.

Best product for me
5I have been using this product for 5days now and I don't think any other primer do a good job as this one. It does make my skin look shiny after some hours but my makeup was still in place and the shininess was more of a nice glow than looking oily if you know what I mean. After removing my makeup my skin feels poreless and tight. I will definitely buy this product again. I have spent so much on other big brand primers and it was a big waste of money sadly. This one though I wouldn't mind spending 30quid as you don't need lots and it can last you a longer. So happy!!!!

Amazing Product!
5I have to say I am not one for writing reviews but after using the new Matt primer for a week my skin stayed Matt and flawless all day! I used the Hydra primer before but found by the afternoon my skin started to feel oily especially on my forehead. I would definitely recommend the Matt to anyone and it's worth every penny!

4I have super oily skin, so I bought this after reading some amazing reviews. Although this doesnt keep shine away all day long, it's the most effective product I've tried. It feels amazing on my skin, didn't break my out and smells good! No complaints here!

Didn't keep oily skin at bay :(
2I have a very oily nose and forehead and find that my foundation, (regardless of the various ones I've tried including double wear) start to slide off after about an hour. I was therefore very excited to try matt veil to see if it would help my makeup last a bit longer and give me a more matt finish. It did not and actually makes me look more oily! So upset after spending 30 pounds on the product and reading other people's positive reviews. I don't even use moisturiser to try get the best results out of the matt veil and it still does not look remotely matt on me :( I don't get why they call it matt veil when it's nothing like a matt finish.

5Used Hydra Veil before and this is perfect for summer for my oily/combination skin (use SB10). Make up looks flawless.
