You NEED this!
5I grabbed a sample of this (which has lasted me a good few applications) and I've saw a world of difference in my make-up's staying power. I have combination skin that can at times be quite oily, and I work in a swimming pool so usually my make/up just melts off but not when I use Matte Veil! A definite must.

5This is liquid gold, worth every penny. Even cheaper foundations stay in place over the top of this primer. I suffer from combination skin with a really oily t-zone and this manages it perfectly.

a little goes a long way
5I'd longed after this product for a while but with a high price tag I was a little put off to start but when being given a voucher jumped at the chance! I read a lot of reviews saying the packaging would benefit from being a squeezy tube although I have to whole heartedly disagree, there'll be no product wastage in the way it's packaged now and when using a tube I always manage to squeeze out too much. I've got super oily skin and struggle to keep it at bay but I have to say this product is amazing it glides on to your skin like silk and really helps disguise those pores. Typically I'll wear my make up for 12+ hours and as a hairdresser can find my make up sliding throughout the day but this has kept it in place very well. You really need to use the smallest amount or it can tend to dry the skin (not a problem i've had before!) A little spreads a long way! I would recommend this product for those with oily skin but stay away if not. X

1Sadly, this didn't work at all for me. If you have oily skin I wouldn't recommend it at all.

5Finally, my primer problems answered. This stuff is amazing. I don't have oily skin, but I shine through makeup like nobodies business and often find I can sweat through make-up a few hours after putting it on, especially on a busy day, or if I've been cycling to town or something. This is amazing- my makeup just stays on. The first day I wore it, I was removing my makeup and was a little non plussed that so much foundation came off on the wipe. Then I had a DUH! moment as I realised it was because my makeup had stayed on a lot better. Well worth the money... I spend decent money on skin base foundation, I don't mind spending decent money on a primer so I can get the most out of it.

5Absolutely excellent! Im a make up artist in training, as well as a dancer and this product I use with all my clients as well as during the day and for work at night. My make up doesn't sweat off & stays put all night long. Love love love! Highly recommended zzz

In Love
5I was desperate to try this product as I loved Hydra Veil and I love have very pale matte skin. It is incredible, makes me skin feel amazing and I wore it to work last night (I am a dancer) and it set my make up in place for 12+ hours and I didn't need to powder my nose at all! Illamasqua is by far the best brand.

All hail Matte Veil!
5I'd wanted to try this out for a while, but waited until my Hydra Veil had ran out - which I absolutely love. I know it's not always a necessary thing for some, but this smells AMAZING too. Feels a lot lighter on the skin than Hydra Veil, I love both. I always have a problem with shine on my T-zone and this has worked wonders. Another item by Illamasqua I have fallen in love with

Worth it!
5I get very oily skin and my previous primer didn't keep my makeup on and it was the only primer I could find that didn't cause my skin to breakout... until I discovered Matte Veil! Matte veil works wonders on my sensitive and oily-combo skin it hasn't caused any breakouts or irritations, it is perfect and I assure that you would fall in love with it.

Best Primer I've used - worth the money
5I have tried a few primers to prevent shiny forehead and nose by the end of the day - I tried cheap and expensive primers but this is the best. It feels so light on your skin and is absorbed instantly for putting on the rest of your make up. I also use it on my eyelids to prevent lines and smudging of eyeshadow. this lasts all day and I don't need to re-apply for going out at night - it has lasted me about 4 months (using it everyday) definitely worth investing the £30 price tag.
