Fabulous primer to use on oily...
5Fabulous primer to use on oily skins or for those who prefer s matte finish. It leaves a thin layer on the skin which allows a smooth surface on which to apply a base.

Finally! Makeup
4I used this product today for the first time and I honestly am really impressed. I live in Bombay, India(which gets pretty hot and humid at this time) and my skin tends to get too oily and my makeup starts to melt. I decided to try it out today under my makeup and honestly, from the time I put this on and proceeded with the rest of my makeup I could feel my face feeling so Fresh even with a lot of foundation/concealer on. It really did a great job of mattyfying my skin and feels really smooth on it. My makeup lasted for a couple of hours even under the burning hot sun which I was relieved about consisting how much I paid for it. This was my first product from Illamasqua and I would definitely invest in some more of their products.

5A primer that is matte but not leave my skin too dry. I have an oily face, esp T-Zone area. I used to experienced a mattifying primer which is too matte, silicone-like which will leave my face too dry after the day. But when I use this primer, I will still have the watery-shine skin but not too oily during the day. So, love it !!

5This product is amazing for oily skin, as I don't wear makeup often I love to use this product to prep my skin in the mornings, it stops me from being oily and also reduces redness and uneven pigmentation. Not only this, it lasts forever too!

Not for me
2I regret buying this. It did nothing for me and considering that I have a slightly oil tzone I was disappointed. I will buy a cheaper product that will do better job.

Amazing
5This is the best matte primer ever! I use it on my t-zone area as it gets quite oily compared to the rest of my face which is quite dry & my foundation stays in place perfectly without a hint of an oily shine! My makeup stays matte without looking chalky which is what I was initially worried about but is amazingly worth every penny & lasts 24months once opened which is a major plus. I also have the hydra veil which I use on the dryer parts of my face & is equally fabulous (and pricey) however only lasts 9months once opened... I'll definately be repurchasing Matte Veil in the future :o)

wonder product
5pre-matte veil i was at my wit's end trying to control the horrid makeup slide that would inevitably happen EVERY DAY no matter what i used underneath my foundation, my worst areas being forehead, cheeks and around my nostrils. using matte veil keeps my makeup in place all day long; even when it's hot and humid my face doesn't slide and i couldn't recommend or encourage you enough to try this product. despite being seemingly expensive i believe that it's worth every single penny and each pot lasts for such a long time the price is entirely justifiable.
