Love the product minus the mess
3I love illamasqua. However, very disappointed when I opened my matte to find it all over the container. It created a mess all over my counter as well. Hoping this was a one time issue.Â

Amazingly Perfect
5This matte primer is everything! I use it mainly in the center of my face. It does exactly what it's supposed to. Takes away any shine. I love the consistency of it. Super easy to work into the skin. It's just everything I was looking for!

Couldn't be without this
5I have been using illamasqua matte veil primer as a stable in my professional kit from it was launched and I just honestly couldn't be without it now. I'd feel unprepared going to a client without it. It is amazing, it does exactly what it promises to do and it is now a favourite with so many of my oily skinned clients. I couldn't rate this product highly enough.

Doesn’t work
1I have oily skin and was hoping for a mattifying primer but my skin seemed to get even more oily after using this product. Definitely not the right primer for my face.Â

Absolutely Fantastic
5I have been learning makeup on Dimma Umeh's Youtube Channel and she has consistently recommended this primer for oily skin (which I have). She didn't mislead me. I love it. This primer is fantastic.

The best primer for oily skin
5I saw a YouTuber (Dimma Umeh) use it repeatedly, and recommending for her oily skin. Since I have oily skin as well, I thought I take the risk and buy it. It is the BEST - light and not sticky! I feel so much more confident wearing makeup that lasts the whole day without having to use an oil blunter to take out the excess oil.Â

Works so well
5It really is a oil control primer. It's has the perfect matte base for my foundation. Â It's leave my make life longer. As I have my make on from 6am till late as I don't get home till 7pm and it has lasted all day. Â No shine all day Long.Â

Absolutely fabulous
5I have a very fair and very sensitive skin: excellent for testing products! (In few days, I can see if a product works and how it works) However, this primer is absolutely the best I have ever tried. It is very pleasant on skin, it holds the makeup, and there is no shine, not even 8 hours later. When washed of, the skin feels nice, hydrated, and it looks healthy. Those few blemishes that I have the day after, I am sure, would be there even without using primer. Conclusion: this primer is my only primer. Forever!
