5I received this product in my ipsy box and I usly just stick with my regular skin care products because I have sensitive skin and I'm acne prone. I also have combination skin 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. So I would usually just give them away but my first thought was well this looks fancy 😂. It made me want to do some research so I went and read a few reviews not on here. Then i saw a youtube videos and i decided to give it a try. Well i absolutely love this stuff. It hydrates my skin, i love gel like texture, after every use it gives me such a glow and smooth skin. I know that it says to use it as a primer but I don't. I use it as a moisturizer before I go to bed and when I wake up. The way that it smoothed my skin i have noticed that it doesnt take as much foundation and this has only been a few days. I cant wait to see the results of using it for a long time. For all the people that threw theirs away I would have gladly taken it off your hands. I understand that not all products are made for everyone, we all have different skin types and textures and sensitivity. I am just glad that this works for me and I hope that you too find a product that works for you because there are only a few better feelings than waking up to beautiful healthy glowing skin. 🙌🏾🤞🏽💪🏾🥰

For everyone who doesnt like it
4If you look deeper into the products uses and usage directions it says works best when mixed with (insert illamasqua product here) so I found if I mix it with either my regular daily moisturizer. Or one of my primers. Or both. It feels less tacky and doesn't dry and make you feel more dry because of the sticky tackiness. Also I got very different results when I applied with my hands and when I applied with a brush. Give it another try and play with it a little.

De-hydrating
1Received this item in my Ipsy monthly subscription. I tried it on the back of my hand first. It felt tacky, then made my hand feel very dry. I had gone through my normal morning skin care routine, and then followed the instructions on how to apply to my face. It dried so quickly and made my skin look like the Sahara. My makeup would not blend at all. I washed my face again and skipped moisturizer (thinking that it may not have played well with the Hydra Veil), and started over. Got the same result. Had high hopes, but I'm tossing it out.

Horrible
1I got this product in my Ipsy bag this month. If I use this product without makeup it’s ok. If I use it under my makeup it’s a hot mess. I had somewhere to go tonight I decided to give it another try. Let’s just say I took it off as fast as I put it on. My makeup was cakey, splotchy and downright ugly. When I took it off an redid my makeup without it . My makeup looked good. This is a no go for me. I won’t be using this no more. It’s to sticky in the first place. I’m 38 an this under makeup made me look 43 years old. That’s what I was told when I wore it the other day. When I don’t use it I look in my 20’s. This made my dry skin a hot mess. Sorry but this is my honest answer.

EXCELLENT
5Easy to apply, dries in no time. Good base for foundation and lasts. Gives a smooth appearance and lines and pores not so obvious. Good price for the amount you get. Only need a small amount for whole face.

WONDERFUL
5I recieved a small sample of this product in my IPSY bag.....LOVE it! Its goes on smooth and is not tacky..absorbs beautifully into the skin. Makes my foundation look wonderful!
