So lovely but sheds so much
3I really used to love this brush. It's incredibly soft, and it perfect for precisely placing highlight and blending, or more usually, buffing in foundation. However, the shedding it so bad. I'm really careful when it comes to cleaning brushes, so I don't think it's that. Last time I washed it it shed everywhere, and it regularly sheds on my face. I've only owned it for eight months, and considering the price, I find this unacceptable. I hope I just got a faulty brush, because I really like Illamasqua and I really want to continue buying their synthetic brushes.

Good
5Whenever I was in Illamasqua, the applied everything with this brush: primer, skin base foundation, cream and powder blusher. I was impressed by the performance of this brush when the MUA used it, but wasn't feeling too comfortable with the price of the brush. So, I bought the 109 by MAC, but ended returning it, as I didn't find the blending ability of the 109 too superior, which is why I ended ordering the Highlighter Brush. I really like the brush: it blends like a dream, the bristles are firm and densely packed. But, I do wish it was slightly wider/bigger. Now I think I should have bought the Blusher 1 Brush, which is a slightly bigger version of the HB (Sephora was out-of-stock when I wanted to order the BB1, so I ordered the HB). I think is a beautiful brush, and if you ARE willing to pay such a hefty price: go for it! It is much better than the 109, which I've found scratchy (compared to the HB), it shed and wasn't as dense. Best for: highlighting; precise application of powder and cream products Good for: applying foundation (because of its size it takes more time), cream blusher (as a good stippling brush alternative, MAC 130), contouring (MAC 109), blush (for a precise and very defined application), etc.

Perfect
5This brush is really good quality, blends foundation and highlighter perfectly creating a really smooth, natural look. I used to just blend with my fingers before but this brush is well worth it.

My favourite for applying foundation
5I adore this brush! I use it to apply my foundation and it is perfect for buffing both liquid and cream foundations into a flawless finish. Well worth the investment, as I've had mine for 4 years and it is still in great shape!

5The ONLY brush I use to apply foundation on my skin (of course the one and only- skin base) as well as on clients. It is amazing and worth every penny! 100% recommend it!

BEST BRUSH EVER, A MUST HAVE IN YOUR KIT.
5To say I adore this brush is something of an understatement. I have had the pleasure of providing some fantasy workshops to Make up students, I am a huge Illamasqua advocate and if there is one thing the students come away wanting, I can guarantee it is this brush. The results that can be achieved with this brush are beautiful and it undoubtedly leaves other eyebrow brushes in the dust. Seriously, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Best Brush Ever
5People, people, people!!!! You need this brush in your life. I know that £23.50 seems a lot for a brush, please trust me when I say it isn't. The finish you get is magazine worthy especially when used with the skin base foundation and matt prima. This is a 10 star brush . ThanQ Illamasqua.
