TRICK OR TREAT..
Which one will you be this Halloween?
Pablo Rodriguez, Illamasqua's Director of Artistry stepped on to the dark side and gave you our Stained Glass Clown look. Now it is time for the treat...
TREAT
You're in for a treat this Halloween with this perfect striking look, our Silent Movie Star. Taking inspiration from the American French singer Josephine Baker. We are bringing the glam with a twist, with dark eyes and sad drooping eyebrows.
The colour palette is mainly black, golds and brown to keep the sepia film feeling on the makeup.
First of all block out the eyebrows, so you can repaint them in a completely different shape.
Apply Skin Base Foundation on the face and set it with Loose Powder, to get extra coverage and matte finish.
Gently draw the shape of the eyes like a downwards smokey eye to give a nostalgic look using Precision Gel Liner in Infinity. Filling in the eye shape to create the dark gothic eyes.
Same for the eyebrows, thin and precise, going up on the forehead and down on the temples, done with waterproof Liner on top of the blocked eyebrows.
Apply Elara Lipstick to the lips using Precision Gel Liner in Infinity as a liner, creating a 1920’s cupid bow shape.
Use our Powder Eyeshadow in Demon as a blusher in the centre of the cheeks to add warmth to the face.
For an added touch draw the hair on to the forehead and sideburns with Precision Gel Liner in Infinity.
Complete the look with a touch of Loaded Lip Polish in Thorn on lips. Then use Glaze on eyelids and painted hair to add dimension to the makeup
