If you haven’t already heard, our cruelty-free brushes have had a glow-up. With a collection of 18 new professional-grade brushes to choose from, there’s a clear favourite among the new releases: the Foundation Brush.
We know our artists are constantly striving to curate the ideal kit but it’s often the staple tools that end up being the hardest to find the perfect fit. Enter our Foundation Brush. A tool used by makeup lovers and artists alike, most have spent years seeking out the perfect version of this every-day essential. At Illamasqua, we think we’ve done it. We've created a foundation brush that buffs, smooths and blends seamlessly, making foundation application a breeze in your makeup routine.
The new Foundation Brush is perfect for buffing foundation into the skin, leaving your base looking effortlessly blended. For the ultimate radiant base use with Illamasqua’s Skin Base or Beyond Foundations.
Expertly curated and designed
Densely packed bristles mean this foundation brush works whether you’re seeking a sheer or full coverage foundation look.
This new collection is expertly-curated and 100% vegan with soft, synthetic bristle brushes that work with your makeup to reduce any blending struggles, helping you achieve the look you desire.
We know the days of normal makeup application may feel distant due to spending the past year at home, but this makeup foundation brush is guaranteed to make application easier. If you’re one of the few (ok, maybe many) who use your fingers to apply foundation, now is the time to take back your artistry, using this brush to apply a smooth and even skin base.
A tip from our Director of Artistry
For a flawless base finish, Director of Artistry Pablo Rodriguez recommends starting with minimal product and building up your coverage.
“Pick up a small amount of foundation with the tip of the bristles of the Foundation Brush and blend into the skin with a circular motion. Build-up in layers where needed with the Round Concealer Brush for extra coverage. Then, to contour the face in a natural way, open your mouth and drop your chin, then apply Gel Sculpt in the hollow area under the cheekbones and blend with the angled Contouring Brush.”
What’s even better? This brush is so good you can use it for cream blushers and highlighters as well. Looking for a total makeup brush refresh? Our new brush kits cover all the bases.
